The 400k Pacifier

“The pacifier is meant to be a keepsake, not for the actual baby” - funnily enough that was worth mentioning for Diamond dealer Eyal Cohen, owner of Luxury Diamonds, who recently debuted his new line of diamond gifts with a pacifier fit for royalty.

The $400,000 objet d’art is the first of Cohen’s new line of natural diamond gifts under the name Objet de Luxe. It is crafted from 4 oz. of platinum, a 10 mm white pearl, and a natural green-blue diamond.

The Jewelry of Chanel's f/w 2016/17 ready-to-wear collection

Comments  |   Posted in Trends   |  By Torsten Flaegel

One of the most awaited collections has been finally unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, and everybody was tremendously excited about it. Yesterday in Paris, at Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2016/2017 ready-to-wear runway show, the renowned fashion house seemed to pick up where the recent Oscars left off: with a clear message that jewelry, going forward, is very much about pearls. Starting off with eye-catching vivid colors, the Chanel fall/winter 2016-17 ready-to-wear collection then quickly changes to dusty and earth colors and prints, only to revive the label’s famous black and white proposals at the finale of the show. Of course, at every Chanel show, models are draped in pearls, but for this particular event, Karl Lagerfeld, the brand’s head designer, reportedly said, “I use them now in over-size and over-volume.”

March Birthstone: Aquamarine

Comments  |   Posted in birthstones   |  By Yaf

In my opinion, March born might feel closer to their birthstone than many others: Being pisces and feeling connected to Aquamarine sounds as natural as it feels, and yes I do love the water just to round this up ;-) Click "read more" to experience this beautiful gemstone with me.
